FAQ

What happens when I place an order with delivery option?
We receive a notification of your order as soon as you have paid or confirmed all details on the checkout page. We will check all details and if everything is ok, your order will turn up at the specified day and time, provided we have enough warning. The driver will have your contact details, so you may get a call if it isn't clear where to dump your purchased products.

How do I know what quantity of material I need?
First you need to work out what quantity you need in cubic meters. To do this, multiply your area by your approx depth (all in meters) then multiply it by the density of the product required, which is stated on each product description. It is a good idea to add 30% for compaction to ensure you get enough product.

Topsoil example: 4m wide by 10m long by 10cm deep is (4m x 10m x 0.1m)=4m³

4m³ x 1.5 Density Factor = 6 Tons

Add 30% to allow for compaction = 8 Tons Required

What happens if I order more than 12 Ton of product?
12 Ton is the maximum amount we can carry in 1 truckload. If you have ordered more than this, it will either require 2 truck movements, or if you have the room we could use a tipper trailer, which also incurs extra cost. Hence, in the case of needing more than a truckload, we will contact you to add this extra cost to your order before we can deliver it.

How much room do your trucks need?
Our 12T Payload trucks need 3m width, 3.5m height clearance (cab) and have a large turning circle if required to turn around. Please check your driveway dimensions to ensure we don't have to dump it on the road! We will endeavour to do our best to get your load to exactly where you need it.

Will your truck damage my concrete?
Our trucks fully loaded can weigh up to 24 Tons, spread over 3 axles. This means we are a lot heavier than residential vehicles and depending on your concrete thickness, the concrete could crack. We take no responsibility for any damage occurred from the weight of the truck. Most quality driveways with good prep and 100mm+ of concrete will stand up to the weight of a laden axle, but if we drive near the edge or there is some hidden sinkage, residential concrete is likely to crack.

How soon can I pick my order up?
You can pick up your order as soon as you have paid for it - we carry all stock that is for sale on the website. Pick up address is 32 Richmond Road, between 6am and 5pm Mon-Fri. Come and see the team at the office to collect your order. Make sure to bring an appropriate sized trailer or vehicle that suits the product you have purchased.
